Last night we sat outside with a nice fire in the pit, waiting for the Perseid Meteor Shower.
As we gazed at the night sky, my husband spotted something. "Do you see it?" he asked me. I saw it. Something traveling towards us. In a straight line. "Aliens?" I asked him.
He grabbed his phone to quickly get a picture. My phone couldn't focus in on it. I knew what it was but he had never seen Starlink! I had seen it before but as always it's totally amazing to me. Amazing that we have that capability to put something like that in the sky.
We continued to watch the sky for meteors but never saw any. We even got the telescope out but the meteors never showed. At least that we could see.
It was still an amazing night. But would have been even better if it was Aliens!
