Our Loofah Soaps are made with locally grown loofah. What?? Yes!! They grow just like a zucchini, long, slender and the inside is where the loofah hangs out. These beautiful loofah 'sponges' get dried and the outer layer is peeled off and the seeds removed.
When I get the loofah, I use scissors to cut a slice that will fit in my soap mold. I pour the soap first then press the loofah slice into the soap. Let it dry for 4-6 weeks and then it's ready to use. So great on your feet or elbows or other rough areas that need some exfoliation.
