It's dark, it's raining and it's not very warm! I'm so ready for spring, aren't you?
I started growing some herbs from seeds recently. They've all sprouted except my lavender. But those were old seeds from last year so maybe if I get some new seeds, I'll have better luck. But a dear friend brought me a lavender plant a few weeks ago and it's THRIVING!
My intention is to grow these beautiful plants in order to make smudge bundles. And not just the usual sage bundle. I'm going to use Holy Basil, Lemon Balm, Catnip (catmint) and maybe some sage and regular basil. I suspect the regular basil will go home with me and be used in many dishes that I cook! Love basil!
What other herbs would you like to see made into a nice bundle? Rosemary or Spearmint perhaps?
My little sprouts are small right now but hopefully in a few weeks I can transplant them into larger pots and get some nice plants out of them. I'm so excited!! Come on spring!!
